About Eureka!

We are a small family business based in Argyll, Scotland. As soon as we moved to Argyll in 1987, we were pestered by midges, and continually searched for a solution to the problem. In 1990, work took Rodger (the father in the family) to India. He was to return with a recipe that changed our lives for the better.

Rodger was given a recipe for a carefully balanced blend of essential oils, which are renowned for their non-toxic and soothing qualities. We researched and sourced the oils and followed the recipe meticulously.

Eureka! means "I have found it", and is what we named the result of our first natural midge repellent recipe.

We have now mastered the process of producing the repellent, and offer a range of different solutions for you to buy online.
